Dr. Percival Ricketts is a Psychotherapist, National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Parenting and Divorce consultant and a Diplomate of the American Mental Health Counselors Association, who has been in private practice in Pembroke Pines, Florida for over 25 years. He is an alumnus of Virginia Tech, Nova Southeastern University and Argosy University, with a Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Ricketts enjoys working with fathers, counseling individuals, couples and families of diverse backgrounds, teaching, and supervising counseling interns. He is the author of several books on a wide variety of topics and he is the developer of the “Parenting for Separated & Divorcing Moms & Dads” curriculum. This is a 4-hour, parenting education and family stabilization program that is approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families. Divorcing parents with minor children and those who are involved in paternity cases in the state of Florida must complete this type of program before their legal actions can be finalized. Dr. Ricketts maintains active memberships in numerous local, national and international counseling-related and other organizations. His latest book, "Fulfilled," was published in May 2022 and it is available at major bookstores.
